It's been quite some time since I bothered with scope control via Sky Safari but I just took the plunge and bought a Sky-Watcher AZ-GTi, now it seems the Telescope button has gone, on searching it seems it was replaced with an "Observe" button but I don't seem to have that either
I originally purchased Sky Safari 5 pro version my version now states "SKYSAFARI, VER 6.7.0.8" i the help menu
Any ideas?, am I doing something wrong?, Did I somehow get downgraded?

Hi Terry,
In Help > Scroll to the bottom > what app are you using? Is Plus or Pro? If not, you must get the Plus or Pro version in order to have scope control.

Hi Keiron, I orginally purchased 5 Pro (or the top version of version 5 whatever that was called), it had scope control, I used to use it with a home made bluetooth dongle to control my HEQ5 Pro, now I've come back to the app it seems to no longer be a pro version, since Google Play updates it appears to have evolved into a lesser version of V6?

You can not lose functionality if you purchase a Pro version. If you bought SS5 Pro then the scope control is in SS5 Pro. If you bought SS6 Pro then the scope control is in SS6 Pro. If you don't have scope control you are using the basic version.

Seems wrong that all I've done is allowed the app to do it's updates and wound up with a lesser version

I must have installed v6 after doing a complete reset on my device as I didn't realise I could access old versions that way
