[Feature Request] Field Rotation by Degrees

Something else I've been requesting for years, and have seen several others comment that they would appreciate, would be the ability to rotate the field on-screen by a specific number of degrees to match what I see in my EP. A similar feature is available in other Planetarium software such as Guide. Being able to do this with the software while at the EP would certainly beat the current method I've seen used, which is physically turning my tablet or phone to match what I'm seeing. This is frustrating while logging objects, going back to screen, turning, turning back to log again, and so on. Simply flipping vertically and horizontally or both doesn't get very close to actually matching in my dob. Thanks!

    Thanks Chris - it is on the list - it has actually been on the list for a while to be honest - we just didn't get to it.  I'm creating a new feature spreadsheet and giving priority to these items.

    Thanks Pedro, looking forward to it. Hoping it will be in the same location as the quick menu for flipping screen is currently, as it will need to be accessed quickly and often. Maybe there's a button there that brings up a screen overlay with rotation options by degrees and also leaves some of the current buttons, plus a reset. I'm even envisioning a 360 degree circle that comes up temporarily that can be turned with two fingers to match, while showing the number of degrees as it turns, or allows you to actually input the number of degrees manually. Then OK to go back to the now rotated sky chart.

    Hello Pedro, I'm reading your post now a full 3 years later, post COVID which had just started in April 2020.  I'm using SkySafari 6 Pro on Mac and would love to do the small rotation outlined by Chris.  I use SkySafari scale to my astrophotos and match up stars/deep space objects to help me identify what I have captured on my camera exposure.  Sometimes I need a small rotation of the SkySafari image to match the tilt I have introduced by not leveling the camera on tripod perfectly.  

    I this feature still on the list or has it been added.  If added I would like some help finding out how to implement.
