I am using android 8.0 and have been using Skysafari 6 plus for quite some time. The compass mode was working fine since I installed the app a few months ago and it was working fine seconds ago. Suddenly it jumps to a vicinity showing only nadir and zenith and cannot return to the view from earth. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app but no luck, the problem still remains. I have checked my phone's compass settings, it's all good and my other compass app on the phone works fine. I here attached a screen shot of the problem view.

  Hi Regina, 

  I think you can resolve the issue like this:

  1. Uninstall the app
  2. Using a file browser, go to the top level of the SD card and RENAME the directory "SkySafari 6 Plus" as "SkySafari 6 Plus-old"
  3. Now reinstall the app and try again.

  If that doesn't work then at step #2 you have to delete all the folders.  Make sure you have logged into LiveSky and backed up your data before deleting the folder (if there is any important data you want to save).

  I deleted all the folders and reinstalled the app, the problem still existed, but very strange, I put it aside for a few days and it works fine now. Unbelievable. Thank you for your help.
