What Is Included In The UCAC5 And PGC Galaxy In-App Purchases? (Answer: Read On!)

Hi All:

Two questions:

1. How can I find out what is included in the in-app purchases? 

2. If I purchase a star or galaxy extension on my Mac OS, do I need to also purchase it again on my iPhone and iPad?

  We’ve updated to use the UCAC5 star catalog with 29 million stars down to 15th magnitude. And with an in-app purchase you can get a total 109 million stars.

  The PGC catalog has 784,000 galaxies down to 18th magnitude. And with an in-app purchase you can get a total 3.4 million galaxies down to the 21st magnitude.

  Largest mobile database requires in-app purchase of UCAC5 & PGC database extensions - only available in SkySafari Pro.

  Yes, the IAPs must be purchased separately for iOS and MacOS.

  That said, I believe the UCAC5 and PGC IAPs are presently free on SkySafari 6 Pro on Mac.
