Is Starry Night Pro 8 MacOS Big Sur Compliant? (Answer: Yes, SN8 Has Been Tested Against the Next OS Release, But Please - Read On!)

Hello

Mac OS Big Sur will be released on 11-12-2020. Will Starry Night Pro Plus version 8.0.6 or later be compliant? 

Should I wait and not update to Mac OS Big Sur?

I am currently running Mac OS Catalina on a 16 inch Macbook Pro.

    Starry Night has been tested against the Big Sur beta release and any issues were resolved.

    If Starry Night on macOS is essential to your observing everyday then I suggest not upgrading right away.  It is also better to adopt a wait and see approach when it comes to new OS releases.

    Any idea when you'll release an update for SN8 to work with Big Sur ? Is there a Beta I can try ?

    Yes, it was crashing every time I opened it. It was the first time I had used it as I only got the license yesterday.
