[Telescope Control]* Basic Encoder Issues Reported With Latest Update - TeleVue SkyTour Via FireFly720 Bluetooth

Dear Ladies & Gentlemen! I had in use the a.m. Telescope Setup. Since I upgraded to SkySafari 7 Pro (Ver. 7.6.6) I cańt connect to my Scope /Alt-Az Push to Basic Encoder), since there is no BT connection possibility visible in my SkySafari 7 Pro anymore, or did I make a mistake? I use it on iPad Air latest model. Is ther any resolution or plug-in available? Thanks in advance & best regards Hans

  Please clarify the following

  • App and version.  See Help > scroll to the bottom.
  • OS version.
  • Device.
  • On what date approximately did you last successfully connect via Bluetooth?
  • What bluetooth device are you using to connect? 
  • Did you successfully connect using bluetooth on iPad?
  • Did you successfully connect using bluetooth on Android?

  Please provide a detailed report regarding what worked previously, what does not work now, any error messages, etc.

  Dear Keiron!

  The Interface is:

  Grid Connect FIREFLY RS232 to Bluetooth (it reports itself as FireFlyBP-729D in an Android tablet)

  I used two Systems:

  1) Android Tablet
  OS Versions: Android 11; SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab A SM-T515
  App and version SkySafari 7 Plus Ver. 7.6.4.1

  2) Apple iPad
  App and version is SkySafari 7 Pro 7.6.6 (1171)
  IOS 26.1.1 latest model of iPad Air with M3 Chip
