Planning with SkySafari Pro 8
It would be great if there was a way to choose the Observing list instead of a catalogue and use the planning function to select objects from the observing list that are in the correct area of the sky?

Keiron Smith Hi Wayne,
The planner is designed to search through catalogues. If you want to sort your observing list there are many filters, and come that focus on areas of the sky, like "Constellation". Thanks!

I would like the observing list to be treated as if it was a catalogue. That way I can have a list of only those objects I am interested in and use the planning to to refine what is visible etc.
