Tonight > Observing Conditions Not Working

Observing conditions don’t work in menu ‘tonight’.

    Hi Peter, 

    Please check again, in case it was a temporary issue.  This works for me now.

    If you still see an issue, please provide the following info:

    1. App and version.  See Help > Scroll to to the bottom.
    2. iOS version.
    3. Device model.
    4. Screenshot of what you see in Observe > Observing Conditions.

    App version 8.0.2 (1204)
    iOS 26.4
    iPhone 14 Pro
    Don’t know how to past screenshots here but it shows same conditions all seven days.

    Try uninstalling and reinstall the app.

    It’s the same. I have the same problem in my iPad iOS 26.4 and same version of SkySafari 8 pro.
    Tried to reinstall but I don’t get observing conditions.

    View the support website via a desktop browser OR on your mobile device switch to the desktop view of the support website.  Then screenshot and drag and drop.

    Sorry. It’s not working. I’ve tried. But I can tell you. All I see when I look at conditions is a graph. And it’s the same graph all seven days and it doesn’t show anything under the graph.

    I have the same issue with 8.0.3 on an iphone 16.

    7 pro on android works.

    I played with locations, and it seems for north, and south-America it works fine, outside the Americas any location fails to load (tested about 15 all over the world).
    But only for v8 on iOS, v7 on Android works fine.

    Also when "Conditions" is the first item in "Tonight" it will only update from the default graph once I scrolled down until it went out of view.

    Hi, guys. On iPadOS and iOS, the Tonight weather conditions still do not work for Germany in SkySafari 8 Pro, while SkySafar 7 Pro does show the actual forecasts. What is the timeline to fix this bug?

    I’ve just bought pro 8 and am dismayed to see that this bug still exists. Pro 7 works fine.

    Hi Keiron, hi guys,

    This annoying bug was reported 4.5 months ago. Weather conditions still don't work for Germany in SkySafari 8 Pro, while SkySafari 7 Pro shows the actual forecasts, even though it shows an error in the condition description when the sky is clear. What is the timeline to fix this bug?

    SkySafari 8.1.0 (when displaying forecast for more than 2 days ahead, the date on top disappears, and no weather conditions are shown for any day):

    Your feedback has been forwarded again to developers.

    I see this issue is on the list of things to do asap.

    Hopefully, a fix is forthcoming soon.

    Kieron, feature parity with a previous version is a BARE MINIMUM. How can you ship new versions which you charge money for that doesn’t do the same and more as the old versions?

    I held off upgrading for a long time, only to eventually pay for the new app only to find out that the new version doesn’t work. Do you think that’s a good experience? Do you think that’s an acceptable experience?

    Oh, and don’t use the word “hopefully”. That’s insulting. We’ve paid our money. Tell us by what date the app will be fixed.

    It's a bug, not an omission, there is a list-to-do.

    I've reported it again.  Devs will fix it.
