Really happy to see I can import a sketch into SS8. But am I missing something as to how to change the name or date or associate it with an observation? Or search?
I sketched the reappearance of Venus on June 17, and 5 days later when I had time, imported the image into the gallery. In gallery view the title is simply Moon, no option to change it. The date is the timestamp when I exported the jpg from Sketchbook, 5 days later. It won't let me edit it. Info has a button "Show In Sky" that does nothing. In a fashion similar to associating an observation to a session, I expected that I would be able to associate a gallery image to an observation. In gallery, there is apparently no method to sort or search (or is that because I only have 5 images in it?).
I am hoping that the functionality of the the gallery is a work in progress.
