SS6 Crashing On Startup (Answer: Reinstall Fixed The Issue)

Hello.  I bought SkySafari 6 Pro a few months ago and when I last opened it on my Lenovo Tab M10 FHD Plus (TB-X606F) with Android 10, it appeared to be running fine.  This afternoon I've opened it again and it seems to be crashing immediately.  It flashes up for a fraction of a second then vanishes.  I've tried restarting the tablet, but it crashes again immediately.  I see an update came through on 21st July.  Are there any known problems with this update which are presently being looked at?

I'd be happy to try and provide some more info for debugging if someone can indicate where to find it.

 

The same app appears to be running fine on my Android phone, and the Play store indicates it's had the same update.

    For the record (new info), clearing the cache had no apparent effect.  Then clearing the user data had no apparent effect.  BUT, having now uninstalled and reinstalled the whole app, it seems to be opening again.  So it may more specifically be some kind of data migration thing between versions.

    After a massive SS6 codebase refactoring the Android updates are still in work in progress.  We are almost there.
