I'm looking to compile a count of the number of stars within 1000 light-years of the solar system at 100 light-year intervals and wondered if it would be possible to consult your database to get that information?
I appreciate any help, guidance and direction you can provide.

Can I confirm that you don't log stellar distances in your info section beyond 10,000 light-years? That's the point at which the number of stars drops to zero.
When I leave the max distance empty and put the minimum distance of 10,000 ly, I get plenty of results, but the ones I've checked don't have a distance in their information panel.

Stars without a distance showing have no distance included as part of their data in the catalogue.
We are using catalogues created and maintained by third parties. If there is no star listed beyond 10,000 then that is the limit as per the catalogue.
