SkySafari 6 Pro v6.8.6.14 continually downloading "additional file"

I have SkySafari 6 Pro v6.8.6.14 on Android (Samsung Galaxy Note10+) and this latest beta version continually tries to download "additional file for SkySafari 6 Pro."
The last version did not have this problem. I just noticed this morning that the app had updated and this download was trying and trying. Never finishes.

  Developers are working on this issue.  A new beta build will be released as soon as possible.

  I STILL have that download icon at the top constantly going and going, never downloading anything.

  PLEASE release a beta fix for this NOW!
