I've gone back to Pro 6 for now, which always works. No idea what's going on. The Demo Interface seems to work, but when I establish the Preset to the Tak Temma 2 using a Bluetooth connection, the app stops/crashes/disappears from my screen.

Keiron Smith Val,
What Bluetooth hardware device are you using?
Thanks!
-
Val Ricks Well, it's a Serial RS232 Bluetooth Adapter from USConverters.com, Model UCBT232B. The app doesn't even seem to try to connect, as far as I can tell; the crash occurs immediately.

Keiron Smith And, please also tell us about
- App and version
- Android OS
- Android device
Thanks!
-
Keiron Smith And, please also be specific about when the app is crashing. At specifically what stage does the app crash? What is the last action you take? Please attach a screenshot of the last screen page before crashing.
Thanks!

Val Ricks SkySafari Pro, Ver 7.0.1.1; Google Pixel 4 XL; Android Version 12. I set up Takahashi Temma 2 as a preset, to connect via Bluetooth. Then after that, anytime I push Connect the app shuts down immediately, in less than 1 second.
I uninstalled and re-installed once to try to solve the problem, with no effect.

Tfowler I have the same problem. Losmandy Gemini, Samsung tablet. US Converters Blutooth. Works perfectly with SkySafari 6.
Also SkySafari 7 crashes when it tries to load many of my observing lists, all of which work perfectly with SkySafari 6.
Did you release a beta version of SkySafari 7? Shouldn't be this many bugs!

Val Ricks So, when a ticket opens, do we ever find out if the issue is resolved? If I can never used Pro 7, and I have been completely unable to, can I get a refund?

Keiron Smith Val,
There is a bluetooth issue unrelated to this particular post you are commenting on.
SkySafari 7 | Telescope Support

Thanks!

Val Ricks Ah, ok. Glad to have info. Thanks. I guess it will be addressed at some point? I use Wifi for other things while I run my telescope, so I'd really rather use Bluetooth or a wired connection to the scope.
