Feature Request: "Connect and Align without a full StarSense align procedure

I'd LOVE the ability to use my Celestron WiFi and do a CONNECT and ALIGN without having to do a full StarSense alignment. In other words, I would love to be able to do a QUICK ALIGN or SOLAR SYSTEM align, etc and then improve the alignment with reference stars later on. 

USE CASE: I do public outreach but often show the Sun or Moon when it is still daylight and there are no stars to capture. I'd love to be able to connect and align on a solar system object (either the Sun or Moon).

    BTW,

    I use SkySafari Pro 7, iOS, Celestron AVX with  on both iPad Mini and iPhone 12.

    Does the Simulation Curriculum SkyFi unit support all alignment modes when using SkySafri 7 Pro and a Celestron mount with a StarSense camera?

    Just to be confirm,

    i agree StarSense code is owned by Celestron and the Celesteon Wi-Fi unit. The StarSense already does the alignment methods I described above but SkySafari only accesses the full StarSense protocol not the Solar System or other protocols  

    Im wondering if it is a joint feature request between Celestron and SkySafari to open and use the other alignment protocols using either the  Simulation Curriculum SkyFi or the Celestron WiFi module. 

    I will also post this request to Celestron as soon as I can figure where.

    All the options available in the Celestron gear icon are developed by Celestron.  We do not update, manage or maintain this code at all.

    If you are using SkyFi 3 then you will star-align using the Celestron hand controller first.  This works perfectly.
