Mweasner Same here with SkySafari 7 Pro on iPhone and iPad. I tried both methods to add to the observing list. There is a pause after clicking Add to List then SkySafari crashes without adding the object.
-
Rpgtargas Same here again with SkySafari 7 Pro on iPad. SkySafari simply crashes when adding 3I/ATLAS, but works with adding other objects. Is there a way to manually create and add objects for observing?
-
Keiron Smith 3I/ATLAS is in SS7 Pro. Am I misunderstanding this post?

-
Rpgtargas Try to add the existing entry to the watchlist by selecting the telescope icon on the bottom left. For the three of us, SS7 Pro will simply crash, returning you to the OS screen.
-
Mweasner Yes, it is the data base, but trying to add it to an observing will crash the app, at least on iPhone and iPad. Latest OS updates did not fix the problem. Needs either a correction to the object data or an update to the app.

Keiron Smith Thanks, Mike! Devs will get it fixed asap.

Henk Same here. iPad 8th generation. iPadOS 18.6.2 (22G100). SkySafari Pro 7.6.1 (1156).

Marie Lott [2025.09.08] Has there been any progress on this bug? Adding a comet to an observing list crashes Sky Safari Pro 7.6.1.

Mweasner Just updated to SS7P 7.6.2 on my iPhone 15 Pro Max (iOS 26) and was able to add 3i to an observing list. No crash. THANK YOU!
