Could you please consider adding a 3D display option to SS (by which I mean project a stereo image pair capable of being viewed on a 3D display)?
I know this has been mentioned before (eg this thread: https://support.simulationcurriculum.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115005865968-VR-goggles-with-SkySafari-suggestions) but yesterday I tried Solar Walk's 3D option on a 3D-capable projector (from an iPad, via Apple TV) and found it utterly absorbing, so I'd like to raise the topic again. You have a deep base of data and UI technology to draw on; eg in Solar Walk I couldn't look at the sky from another star, identify background objects, and so on, all of which you already can do. Furthermore you have the Gaia data set with distances out to hundreds of light years, so the display could be much richer.
It's clearly a major addition to the app, but I'm convinced it could have significant educational and entertainment value.
