Future of Starry Night for macOS?

For macOS, Starry Night 8 is coded as an Intel application. It depends on Apple's Rosetta 2 emulation to run on Apple Silicon Macs.

macOS 27 (expected in Fall 2026) will completely drop Intel (Rosetta) support,

Are there plans for a Starry Night 9 to be coded as a "Universal" or "Silicon" application, allowing it to run on macOS 27 and later?

Or is Starry Night software a dead end for Macintosh computers?

Honesty in answering the question would be much appreciated…

I am also wondering the same thing.  It's been several years since Starry Night had an update.

I recently started to get get warnings on my laptop:

I'm here for the same reason. MacOS 27 is released. But I can't upgrade until an Apple Silicon build is available. I'd like to know if/when a new build is planned. If there isn't one on the horizon, I can use an older laptop with less powerful graphics and no battery life. But I'd prefer to use this on my new Mac that actually goes outside with my telescope.
